The Tube Shack is a river-tubing rental company on South Shore Road in Lake Cowichan, running a two-and-a-half-hour float down the Cowichan River. It rents open- and closed-bottom tubes and parent-child swift tubes with paddles, and includes a complimentary shuttle back to the starting point, with family passes, group rates and season passes available. A summer operation with small rapids on the route, it requires swimmers only and a signed waiver before arrival.
